Thank you for your kind and generous support in response to the Alice in Wonderland Garden Party which was held here on 17th July 2008 in our gardens, in aid of MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT. We raised nearly £1,700 thanks to your generous contributions and Macmillan Cancer Support were very impressed!

In particular I would like to thank:

SHARP INTAKE – the terrific jazz band who played til the end despite the weather

STEVE GILHOLM of GILHOLM HARRISON patent and trade mark attorneys, for donating a winter break in his Northumberland cottage as an auction prize

Dr Mah Hussain-Gamble of SAAF Skincare who donated £220 worth of skincare products for the auction

PURE FINANCIAL SERVICES who donated a Four ball golf day at a De Vere Hotel

FREEDOM DIVERS who donated a free scuba lesson for two

FITNESS FIRST who donated a one month guest pass

and my 3 beautiful assistants, CHARLOTTE, RACHAEL and ABIGAIL for having lots of bright ideas and assisting with the weeks of party preparations as well as on the day

and the many others who contributed prizes for the raffle, worked hard on the night and everyone who donated so generously. Thank you also to all those who attended and braved the English summer weather and to all those who could not attend but sent their best wishes and/or cash!
